Once my order is placed how quickly will I receive my items?
All of our products are made to order in Italy meaning the lead-time, including shipping to Canada, is approximately 4-6 months. Some items are available sooner, and our in stock units are available for delivery in as little as 1-2 weeks. Your Sales & Design Consultant will explain all details when finalizing your order.
What is the returns policy?
We believe that ordering custom furniture is an investment which is why our design team will work with you to ensure your final order is exactly what you want. Because these pieces are made to order there is a no returns policy on all products, and orders cannot be canceled once they are processed.
Does Resource ever have sales?
We stand by the quality of our product and for that reason, Resource Furniture does not have sales. Occasionally we have floor model events with special pricing, but we do not offer discount on made-to-order pieces.
What is the warranty on your products?
We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all wall bed mechanisms and other hardware within these systems. When installed and used properly it is very unlikely that malfunctions will occur, but if they do we are here to resolve the situation. Visiting a Local Showroom
Should I bring anything to my appointment?
We recommend bringing floor plans, photos, and measurements to your appointment. This will allow us to custom-tailor a solution to fit your space perfectly.
How long should I expect to be at the showroom?
Each showroom is thoughtfully curated to present our collection of Italian-made furniture. During your showroom visit a designated design consultant will guide you through the space, so we recommend allowing at least 30 minutes for your visit.
If you're seeking a more comprehensive consultation, and are brining floor plans with you, you can anticipate your visit to last from 45 to 90 minutes.
Measuring and Assessing Your Space
Do you offer a home measure service?
Each Resource Furniture showroom offers a home measure within their local service area. A design consultant will come to your home, measure the space you're working with and create custom solutions to suit your needs.
When a home measure is done by Resource Furniture we guarantee that the furniture will fit your space correctly. If the product(s) you’ve selected cannot be installed in your desired space for any reason, your sales representative will offer a suitable alternative.
Can my furniture be installed wall to wall?
Our furniture systems are typically installed from baseboard to baseboard of two opposing walls. There is generally a small gap between the furniture and the wall to leave enough clearance for proper installation. If you would like your installation to extend completely from wall to wall, please let your design consultant know ahead of time as this will require special consideration.
Shipping and Installation
Is my order insured during transit?
Your order is insured until it is safely delivered and assembled in your home by Resource Furniture. The freight forwarders and delivery teams we work are experienced with our products and handle everything with great care.
Note: If you are working with your own delivery and installation team, Resource Furniture is responsible only until the product leaves our warehouse.
Does Resource Furniture offer white glove delivery?
Within our local service areas, we offer white glove delivery for a majority of our products. The team will deliver the product to a room of your choosing and ensure you are happy with everything before they leave.
For out-of-town deliveries please speak with your Sales & Design Consultant to determine a delivery method that is right for you.
What delivery considerations should I be aware of?
Prior to delivery please ensure that your entire delivery path is clear and accessible.
Here are some things to consider when preparing for the delivery:
- Is there ample space for a delivery truck to stop outside your home?
- Are your hallways wide enough to accommodate larger furniture pieces such as sofas?
How can I prepare my space for installation?
Please clear the entire installation area prior to install. For more information on preparing your space ahead of installation click here.
Can I work with my own installer for assembly?
All Resource wall beds must be installed properly following the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Each showroom has a team of local installers that have many years of experience assembling these units and we will arrange your installation for you.
If you live out-of-town or prefer to source your own installer, the installation must be completed by a licensed contractor. Your Sales & Design Consultant will provide you with comprehensive assembly instructions, and our customer service team is available anytime to answer questions.
I am moving and want to take my wall bed with me. Can you help with that?
Yes! One of the benefits of a Resource wall bed is the ability to take it down and move it to a new home with you. This is a service we provide for many of our clients so that they can continue enjoying their purchase for many years to come.
